Uzbekistan Privatization: Invitation to US Companies

The Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan is pleased to invite investors to participate in the 

Program of privatization of state assets in joint stock 

companies that operate in oil and gas, chemical, 

machinery, building materials, electrical engineering, 

textile and food industries, as well as finance, 

insurance and other sectors.

The aim of the Program is to boost foreign direct 

investments in Uzbekistan, to increase the level and 

the role of private property in the economy, to ensure 

modernization and technological renewal of production 

processes and to build industries that make products that 

are in high demand in foreign markets.
