The American-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce (AUCC) seeks to promote trade and investment ties, cultural exchanges and bonds of friendship between the United States of America and the Republic of Uzbekistan. In performing these functions, the AUCC places primary emphasis on serving the needs and interests of its members.

Uzbekistan, US agree on bilateral contacts for 2016

Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov and US Ambassador to Uzbekistan Pamela Spratlen discussed the schedule and agenda of Uzbek-US contacts planned for 2016 at various levels in Tashkent, according to the press service of the Uzbek foreign ministry

During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on the results of the Uzbek-US political consultations held in January 2016, other meetings and talks, according to the Uzbek foreign ministry.

It was previously reported that during the sixth round of the Uzbek-US political consultations held Jan. 19-21 in Washington, the sides summed up results of the interaction for the period after the fifth round of political consultations held in December 2014 in Tashkent.

The state and prospects of cooperation in political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian and other spheres were considered.
