Changes introduced to Government of Uzbekistan
The Government of Uzbekistan was reshuffled after Abdulla Aripov was appointed as the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan.
Aripov was appointed as the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan on 14 December during the joint session of the Legislative Chamber and Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.
Achilbay Ramatov was appointed as the First Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari - Head of Complex on the issues of complex development of territories and the municipal sphere, transport, capital construction and building industry.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Uzbekistan Rustam Azimov is now Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Head of Complex on the issues of macroeconomic development, structural reforms and attracting foreign investment.
Botir Khodjaev became the Minister of Finance of Uzbekistan. Prior to appointment, he worked as the First Deputy Minister of Economy of Uzbekistan.
Zoyir Mirzaev was appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources of Uzbekistan - Head of Complex on the issues of agriculture and water management, processing of agricultural products and consumer goods.
Gulomjon Ibragimov kept his post of the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Head of Complex on geology, fuel and energy complex, chemical, petrochemical and metallurgical industries.
Ulugbek Rozukulov also remained at this post of the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Board of Uzavtosanoat - Head of Сomplex on the issues of development of export potential and mechanical engineering, automotive and electrical industry, standardization of products.
Adkham Ikramov was appointed as the Deputy Prime-Minister of Uzbekistan, Head of Complex on Health, Ecology, Environmental Protection, Physical Culture and Sports.
Tanzila Narbaeva became the Deputy Prime-Minister of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Women's Committee of Uzbekistan.
She replaced Elmira Basitkhanova, who was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Healthcare of Uzbekistan.
Botir Zokirov kept his post of the chairperson of the State Committee of Uzbekistan on architecture and construction.
Anvar Sharapov became a chairperson of the State Committee of Uzbekistan on development of tourism. The committee was formed on the basis of Uzbektourism.
