Latest News: WHITE64 on Significance of Social Marketing in Tourism Sector

Washington D.C. March 2, 2018 - The American-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the State Committee for Development of Tourism, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Uzbek Embassy in Washington DC, hosted an interactive workshop led by the AUCC member-company WHITE64. The conference was on the significance of Social Marketing in the Tourism Sector. The seminar included an audit of existing social media activities by Uzbekistan, reviewed opportunities/trends and highlighted how other nations are using social media as a cost-effective tool to drive tourism.

 

"It was an honor to be asked by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the United States, Javlon Vakhabov to present a social media seminar", said Matt White, CEO of WHITE64. Specifically, WHITE64 presented a rational for the importance of a consistent, social media presence to reach the worldwide English-speaking audience. WHITE64's presentation talked about the need to increase awareness, build consideration and ultimately drive travel to Uzbekistan.  

 

White64 looks forward to offering their excellence and expertise in tourism promotion to the Government of Uzbekistan, helping them develop strategies that can improve the country's social media visibility and, most importantly, generate more interest in Uzbekistan.
