The American-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce (AUCC) seeks to promote trade and investment ties, cultural exchanges and bonds of friendship between the United States of America and the Republic of Uzbekistan. In performing these functions, the AUCC places primary emphasis on serving the needs and interests of its members.

PM: World Bank and ADB extended $56 million in aid to Kyrgyzstan

The government has signed agreements with the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank totaling $56 million, said Kyrgyz Prime Minister Muhamedkaly Abilgaziyev during a parliamentary meeting.

The money has not been fully received by Kyrgyzstan, he said.

"Needed medical and protective equipment is being purchased on the World Bank money mainly," he said.

3 million soms were allocated from state budget for the veterinary system of Kyrgyzstan.
