Presenting the report, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo stressed the priority importance of religious freedom issues in the US foreign policy agenda and assessed the situation in a number of countries. Mike Pompeo has separately pointed out the progress of Uzbekistan in this area. According to him, Uzbekistan has taken serious steps to improve the situation with religious freedom.
