The American-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce (AUCC) seeks to promote trade and investment ties, cultural exchanges and bonds of friendship between the United States of America and the Republic of Uzbekistan. In performing these functions, the AUCC places primary emphasis on serving the needs and interests of its members.

Videoconference of the Council of Women Entrepreneurs

On 16 June 2020, at the initiative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Organization for Economic Cooperation, a video conference of the Council of Women Entrepreneurs was held. This was reported by the CCI press service.



The event was attended by representatives of business circles of Turkey, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan and Afghanistan in the person of:

Seyed Fatemeh Moghimi, Head of the Council of Women Entrepreneurs, CCI ECO - Iran;

Nazli Abid, FPCCI Representative; Former FPCCI Vice President - Pakistan;

Zerrin Ozel, Council of Women Entrepreneurs - Turkey;

Zuhal Atmar - ACCI representative - Afghanistan;

Dinara Allabergen - Director of the Fund for Sustainable Development and Support of Women’s Entrepreneurship - Kazakhstan;

Asel Atabekova - Chairman of the Committee on Women Entrepreneurship CCI KR - Kyrgyz Republic;

Jennet Gurbannepesova - Representative of the CCI of Turkmenistan - Turkmenistan;

Saodat Tursunbaeva - Chairman of the Board of the International Women’s Public Fund “SHARQ AYOLI”

On the agenda was the development of women’s entrepreneurship in the context of the Covid19 pandemic and measures taken to support women entrepreneurs in member countries.

The parties also discussed further work plans of the Council of Women Entrepreneurs of the ECO CCI.
