The American-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce (AUCC) seeks to promote trade and investment ties, cultural exchanges and bonds of friendship between the United States of America and the Republic of Uzbekistan. In performing these functions, the AUCC places primary emphasis on serving the needs and interests of its members.

SCO representatives consider customs cooperation in Uzbekistan

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Uzbek capital Tashkent hosted the twentieth session of the Special working group on customs cooperation of Shanghai Cooperation Organization's member-states, UzDaily reported.
In the course of meeting, the custom services of SCO countries considered the issues on multilateral cooperation, protection of intellectual property as well as specialists training. They also discussed cooperation within the system on risk management of World Customs Union.
According to Uzbek State Customs Committee high official Oybek Zayniddinov, Uzbekistan pays great attention to work of the special group on customs cooperation of the SCO.
In turn, his Russian colleague of Federal Customs Service Natalya Vorontsova expressed gratitude to the Uzbek side for warm welcome and said Tashkent session "will serve for strengthening of cooperation among the SCO member states."
Shanghai Cooperation Organization includes Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
